Its Objectives
To improve the status of women and to gain benefits for women
To raise awareness of problems faced by women workers, to develop a proper understanding of women's issues and to empower women workers, so that they can live a positive and active lives
To help women workers to develop their leadership
To eliminate all forms of discrimination against gender, and through encouraging women workers to stand at the forefront of the struggles for a society where there is equality between men and women
To organize married and unmarried women workers and wives of male workers so that they become a force in the movement for women's liberation.
Subscriptions
The Korean Women Workers Associations United (KWWAU) is an organization devoted to improving political, economic and social conditions for working women.
To inform the international community of the situation of women workers in Korea, has translated its quarterly newsletter,『Working Women』, into English. We welcome all subscriptions and article submissions as we look forward to strengthening international solidarity among working women.
